Winners have been hard to predict at Del Mar. This has been shown by the regularity of the popular Pick6 bet being carried over. Today’s carryover of $418744 should ensure a pool of $1.5m on the final Saturday of the meet. Only last week someone hit the $2 bet for over $700k. If the pool isn’t won today, which is probable on a competitive  Saturday card, there would be a mandatory payout on Monday as the meet closes.

To win you have to select the winners of six consecutive races. Multiple selections per race are allowed.

A winner in my mind for winning the hand of full lipped Dee Luong, Prahlad won the title shortly before midnight much to the relief of the media row who had suffered two days of boredom. My boredom with the event was assured when the last women , Vanna Tea and Thoyan Doan were eliminated on Monday.

Maybe Malibu resident Prahlad can put some of his winnings into tomorrows pick six pool at Del Mar. A two day carryover of $777k should ensure a pool close to $2m tomorrow afternoon.

The action restarts at the Bike tomorrow evening at 7pm with a $100 buy in with a guarantee of $50k. The final is on Saturday afternoon with another Day1 on Friday evening which goes head to head with the Commerce.
