What a great value a day at the races is. My $2 admission voucher today included a Santa Anita wall clock, a $10 slot voucher for San Manual, two free tickets for tomorrow and $2 admission for Derby Day. To top that off the racing today was unusually competitive. I didn’t have money to bet and didn’t pick a winner anyway! Sheekey looked and ran well on his first run for 30 months.

To add insult to injury not only did my three NBC Heads Up selections all lose in the first round, the players I said would not win all won. However, only Eli Elezra made it through round two.Nothing personal, I seem to accumulate a lot of Israeli poker friends.
