No sign of a midweek lull before Matt Savages biggest gamble, the $1m guarantee $1k rebuy. Two final tables, the PLO and $545 NLHE double stack and two day ones ,a rather dull $335 NLHE and a $545 Omaha8.

The man formerly known as Full Tilt Jason, Mr Newitt won the PLO. First place was $17k. He beat world traveller poker rounder Chris Bjorin. Chris plays both cash and tournaments equally well and is one of the veterans who has adapted very well to the new era. Chris won $9500 for second. Third was Irish/Canadian Colin Burton.

The NLHE was still five handed when the PLO finished. Sorel Mizzi was still at the table.

Mark Gregorich heads a final table for the second time.This time the pro leads the Omaha8.147 entered and first place is $21840,a watch and the trophy.
Mark Gregorich 112k,Barry Levy 85k, Don M 84k, S.Gan 80k, Mike Kruke 75k, Saundra Taylor 65k,Rocky Enciso 53k,Ben Coates 16k + Tom Schneider 10.5k. I doubt Tom’s wife,Julie, will be flying out for this one.

Wednesdays is double chance with a $1k NLHE at 1pm and a $545 stud8 at 4pm.
