The Ironman was scheduled to keep the media in town after the Celebrity Tournament. However, nobody was the slightest bit interested in missing a nights sleep especially when Pokerstars are giving away rooms and $50 in food comps at the Venetian. Those tough guys from the east coast, Al Barbieri,Mike Santoro and Will Falla filled first,second and sixth place.Not sure how long Jennifer Tilly and Phil Laak lasted. This was Barbieri’s third win of the LAPC 2010. He told me he gives away the trophies. Like Matt Savage he is all about the money.
