Today was a sad day.Any hope of Vanna Tea turning her satellite entry into a mini cash were dashed as she was the first player of the day eliminated. Pretty Thoyan Doan started the day in third place but had a few bad levels at a tough table and left without visiting the payout cage.Scotty Nguyen was eliminated by two players with pocket aces. His Viet cousin Men saw his wife eliminated early but he failed to bring home the money as he bubbled leaving perennial bubble boy Stan Jablonski once again leaving with money.I left with Bryan Devonshire taking care of a monster stack and believing he had a date with a WPT make up artist on Wednesday. I was shocked to see that, in the added level(originally play would finish at 27),Devo had cashed out for a mere $18k, mainly, after flopping a lower flush than Todd Terry.
So what do we have to look forward to? Prahlad Friedman can be entertaining and the WPT will be pleased to have the possibility of the new world champion, captured on tape, in the form of Kevin Schaffel or Steven Bedwetter.
