It wasn’t an iceberg that sunk the WPT not in this heat. However only 79 players showed up for Day 1a of the Bellagio Cup. Maybe some would play Day1 of the Venetian $5k and then move on to the Bellagio tomorrow. If so, where do these donks get their money? I would like to bet the under 225 for the event. We can expect JC Tran, Benyamine , Elky and maybe Theo Tran to move their money down from the Rio to the Fontana.

Charder won the last $5k event at the Bellagio, worth $200k.

The Venetian attracted 260 including Van Nguyen , the Lawson’s (Ted + Michele) and Jon Turner.

Congrats to my friends at Pokerati for taking down the Dream Team event. $33k is better than working. Kenna James won the individual prize ruining my KJ story. I was with a player agent and Kenna asked if he was taking on new players. “Not at this time” was the reply to which Kenna said , not jokingly, ” I am far too big for you.”

My November nine is now down to six. Marty, Craig and Karl all cashing out today.
