The Irish save an otherwise shitty day

It was like a sad commercial. After starting my day with a visit to Bellagio, a shuttle hop to the Rio became an unwanted sunbathing session. Eventually reaching the Rio it was a case of WTF where is everyone?

Luckily, Neverwin was trying to entertain dressed ,well you can see him below. Two hot French femmes on the rail and Kara Scott at the table were must see’s.

Brandon Demes from Az was the Day1b chip leader at the end of play.Craig Hopkins from Chesterfield is in the top ten.

The shuttle return to Paris (for Bellagio) didn’t go well when I was the only person left standing for the second time. The Bellagio final table was still in progress (an upswing for my luck).

The tournament was won by Ben Fineman with Galway’s (that is in Ireland to  Americans reading) Fintan Gavin second and Wolverhampton (in England but not worth a visit unless you like low grade All Weather horse racing or street fighting)Surinder Sunar third.

A little celebration ensued with Schof Sheffield, Padraig Parkinson, Veronique, Mad Marty + his lady and Kevin O from Burnley.Peter Costa came by for a minute. Mad Marty had just won a seat into the ME with his last $1k.Brilliant.

Afterwards the strip was in lockdown with cop cars, ambulances and no public transport grrrr.

I return home to find that I had missed retired jockey Laffit Pincay at the awful pokerpalooza and that the strip would be closed near Planet Hollywood for some death defying stunt.

Hopefully everyone drives home tomorrow so ghosttown returns to normal.
