Its official. God doesn’t like gambling or sex! The proof. It poured with rain on Sunshine Millions day at Santa Anita racetrack. The card, the most pretegious of the winter meet (they race from Boxing Day through to April at Santa Anita) was spiced up with a bikini contest.

 

They certainly were not playing the Beach Boys “California Girls” as the four contestants waited in raincoats for the contest to commence. That’s because the entries came from Norway, England, Canada and Mexico,not a Cal girl in sight.

What a great deal racegoers have in California. My admission to the track was a dollar and upon entering I was given four free tickets to future meets and a free radio! I wish it had been free umbrella day which is on February 16th.

The downside is the 20% takeout by the tote for wagers.

I still should have backed NoLimitPoker though given the real reason of my visit to LALA land.
